Tutors are volunteer employees who have completed a training course leading to certification. In practice, the operators train the new arrivals, and the tutor supervises the training. Training courses last several months, are adapted to each individual's profile, and are structured around a series of milestones to be validated until the learner is autonomous in line operation. For new arrivals, the benefits are many: they always have a reference person to turn to, they learn their job but also teamwork, specific safety rules... And for tutors, it's a rewarding experience, since it highlights their professional experience and expertise, and ensures that our precious know-how is passed on. Passing on also allows us to learn something new ourselves, because even after 30 years with Paturle Aciers, we're still discovering new things!
