The Function:

Your contribution at Paturle Acier will have a direct impact on the production and quality of our steels. You will play a key role in improving our processes and implementing effective and sustainable solutions. As an engineer reporting to the Head ofProcess Industrialization, based at the Saint-Laurent du Pont site, your role will involve three areas of expertise:

Industrialization:

Translate customer requirements into manufacturing ranges and ensure compliance.

Validate the effectiveness of manufacturing processes to ensure the quality of manufactured products while controlling manufacturing costs.

Evaluate the impact of changes in the manufacturing process on product characteristics.

Process Quality Process

Maintain and develop control expertise, in particular through measurements and checks carried out throughout the process, as well as through the metallurgy laboratory, which is part of the department.

Lead quality management in the various stages of process conjunction with production managers.

Product Development and Manufacturing Processes:

Contribute to the development of new products or manufacturing processes.

Work closely with the production, logistics, and sales departments.

The Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for an engineer with a degree from a generalist school (metallurgy branch) or specializing in metallurgy. Proven initial experience in the industry would be highly appreciated. You enjoy working in the field and managing several projects simultaneously. With excellent teamwork and communication skills with all stakeholders in your environment (customers, colleagues, etc.), you aspire to develop your skills within a dynamic team.
